Short Biography:
I graduated with great distinction in 2012, obtained a Master's degree in 2014, and a Ph.D. degree in 2019 from the Department of Geography of Sao Paulo State University/Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT/Unesp), Presidente Prudente, Brazil. I have a postdoc in Geotechnologies from Adolfo Lutz Institute, São Paulo, Brazil. I am currently a full-time research associate at Wicked Problems Lab and an adjunct faculty member at Saint Mary's University, Canada.

​​My scientific interests lie in the following fields: spatial analysis, cartography, geographic information systems, remote sensing, forests, health geography, public health, and surveillance.​
